About The PangaFurs
Hailing from the north of the Philippines...
Maayos ya kabwasan ed sikayon amin! We are the PangaFurs. A group of furries that reside in the province of Pangasinan, located in North Central Luzon.
Located along the coast and comprised of 44 municipalities and 4 cities, our province is the third biggest in the whole Philippine Archipelago.
What started out in 2024 as just a small Discord server with the hopes of finding and bringing together fellow furries within the province has blossomed into a community that both welcomes and uplifts furries throughout the province and beyond.
Since then, we have had more than 50+ PangaFurs and 80+ visitors join our community. We may be not as big or as talented as our counterparts around the country but we sure can provide a space that's authentic, fun, and local. :3
Our History and Milestones
PangaFurs was officially founded in August 27, 2024 via a Discord server with the goal of establishing a proper home for furries who are currently in the province of Pangasinan. Our founder, Snifflet (reusei), established the group after getting to know enough furs in the same province through social media and then subsequently meeting them in real life thereafter.
Almost a month later on September 23, 2024, we held our first formal furmeet, with six people attending. They are Akio (AkioTheBoyo), Kiharu, Seph, Snifflet, Vulpst, and Zane (ZanjoeUwU).
On March 19, 2025, Zane designs and creates the first version of our logo, with Swiff, a furmeet organizer from Furries in a Bag chiming in to make a version with small tweaks for our server icon.
On May 17, 2025, Snifflet stepped down as the leader of the PangaFurs, passing the leadership onto Zane.
In August 2025, nearly a year after the group was founded, we collectively created a mural of Swiff's rendition of our logo (with Akio's pixel art version) on the collaborative pixel art website Wplace, placing it on top of Dagupan City, with a scannable QR code directly linking to an invite to our Discord server. This stunt would subsequently lead to around 18 new members joining the server within a month of the logo being completed, with a couple of them being PangaFurs themselves who we weren't able to scout through means of social media. How lucky!
Fast forward to half a year later on January 13, 2026, the PangaFurs formally partners up with Furries PH for cross-promotion of events with current and future partners involved, alongside the Republic of Quezon Furries.
